GiDEL's PSDB Proto

Overview

GiDEL PSDB Proto™ is a type 2 PSDB. This means that it uses two connectors to connect to the PROC motherboard. These connectors are located on the component side of the motherboard to the left and to the right of each FPGA device.

PSDB_Proto is designed to achieve two major tasks:

  • Enable immediate System - PROC board connections.
  • Enable PROC Board - Logic Analyzer connections.

PSDB Proto™ was developed to give the user an option to quickly and easy create a daughterboard for PROCStar II and PROCSpark II motherboards.

PSDB Proto Provides The Following Features:

  • Logic Analyzer connections:
    • Mictor38 connector.
    • Soft Touch connector
  • Buzzer, enabling debugging by sound
